The contest, which the Purdue chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) launched in 2013, invites IE students to create a piece of artwork that symbolizes what industrial engineering means to them. This year, three finalists were selected to bring their concepts to life on canvases to be displayed in Grissom Hall.

This spring students from the School of Industrial Engineering took part in a variety of competitions and experienced success while facing some very talented competitors.

Purdue University and Seoul National University (SNU), Korea, have signed a letter of intent (LOI) to foster international cooperation in education and research within their respective graduate engineering programs.

This semester, nearly 200 students in the School of Industrial Engineering engaged in capstone projects through the IE431 Senior Design course, taught by Drs. Craig Zehrung and Syed Helmi.

This year's Outstanding Industrial Engineer Award recipients were honored at a banquet that took place in the Spurgeon Club, at Mackey Arena.
