After eight months of work on the Blue Ribbon, a 12 foot 6 inch diameter rocket to travel one mile in the sky, the Purdue Ballistic Rocketeers set off to NASA Marshall in Huntsville, AL for NASA's University Student Launch Initiative rocket competition.

The 15th annual AIAA Cessna/Raytheon Missile Systems Student Design/Build/Fly Competition was held this past weekend (April 15-17^th) at TIMPA field in Tucson, Arizona, hosting 82 teams from across the world.

The Second Annual AAE End of Year Banquet, hosted by Sigma Gamma Tau, was held Wednesday, April 13th to get all the members of the department together and recognize those that have had made major accomplishments throughout the past year.

Dr. Munir M. Sindir, Director of Engineering Technical Disciplines from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, presented a check to fund undergraduate scholarships to Dr. Tom Shih.
