Congratulations to the Purdue Solar Racing Team who were placed first in the Battery Electric division of the  2013 Shell Eco Marathon Americas in Houston TX with their ninth car Navitas. This marks the sixth year in a row that Purdue Solar Racing has taken home first prize with their student designed solar vehicles. 

AAE senior Zack Lapetina has been the team's president from 2011 - 2013 and he says that being part of the team was truly rewarding and a memorable experience.
