Six School of AAE Undergraduate Students Selected to View Orion Launch in Cape Canaveral

The Purdue Chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) sponsored a competition for School of Aeronautics and Astronautics undergraduate students to attend the Orion EFT-1 launch in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The Purdue Chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) sponsored a competition for School of Aeronautics and Astronautics undergraduate students to attend the Orion EFT-1 launch in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The organization received 31 applications which were all very competitive and well-written, and were centered on the theme Why Space Exploration is Important to the Future, and to Me?

Based on these essays and other criteria, six students were selected to attend the launch scheduled for December 4, 2014.
