Nandiganahalli received the Hugh W. and Edna M. Donnan Fellowship. He is a student of AAE Prof. Inseok Hwang. Nandiganahalli says he is grateful for the support from Prof. Hwang, the College of Engineering, and AAE.

Jain is the recipient of the Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship Award. He is a student of AAE Prof. Li Qiao.

"I feel honored to have received the prestigious Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship,” says Jain. “I want to give a special thank you to my advisor, Prof. Li Qiao, for her consistent guidance and inspiration."

Both fellowships are awarded to outstanding Ph.D. candidates by Purdue’s College of Engineering. They are highly competitive and recognize superior academic abilities and scholarly achievements.
