APARC Team Receives Grant to Improve Hearing Health in Rural and Migrant Communities
We’re excited to share that the APARC team has been awarded pilot funding from Purdue’s Center for Rural and Migrant Health for their project:
“Addressing Untreated Hearing Loss in Rural and Migrant Populations by Increasing Accessibility to Quality Audiological Care.”
In collaboration with Dr. Jennifer Coddington (DNP, MSN, CPNP-PC) from Purdue Nursing, the team will bring hearing health education and comprehensive assessments to underserved rural communities through Purdue’s Family Health Clinics.
This initiative represents a vital step toward reducing untreated hearing loss and improving quality of life for rural and migrant populations across Indiana. Congratulations to the APARC team on this impactful collaboration!
