IE431 Capstone Project Wins at Sage Memorial Design Competition

The BraunAbility team, which also won first place at the IE431 poster session in April, earned the Best Poster award at the competition hosted by George Mason University.

The team created a digital twin through the use of NVIDIA Omniverse, that allowed the company to implement a new process for their welding staging area that could lead to an annual reduction in operating costs. Their work involved updating the layout to plan for Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) part movement while accommodating future growth and changes.
