Professional Master's Program Student Awarded Distinguished Active Initiate Award by Tau Beta Pi
Presented by the Tau Beta Pi Indiana Alpha Chapter, this award recognizes the individual in the initiating class who has made the most significant contributions to the chapter. Contributions are evaluated based on involvement in social, professional development, and service events throughout the semester.

In addition to the individual award for Shyam Sashvat, the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering was honored with the Best Engineering Discipline Award. This award goes to the major that contributes the most to the chapter, evaluated on a weighted scale. The calculation is based on the collective points earned by members from each major, scaled to account for the size of the major.
