The Purdue Systems Collaboratory has formalized a partnership with Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) that will foster cooperation in systems education and research between the two institutions.

AAE PhD student Andrew Strongrich won the Dr. Thomas Jennings Award for best poster presentation at the International Society of Lyophilization-Freeze Drying Conference in Chicago on April 14, 2016.

AAE PhD student Cesare Guariniello is the recipient of the 2016 Diamond Award from Purdue’s Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS). The annual award recognizes a graduating student who, like coal, is put under a lot of pressure to emerge a “diamond.”

AAE Professor of Practice Dan Dumbacher spoke at the 54th Robert H. Goddard Memorial Symposium March 8-10, 2016 in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Adranos Energetics LLC claimed top prize in the Gold Division Purdue Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition, first in the University of Oregon's 25th New Venture Championship and first in the graduate division of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Global New Venture Competition, and was recently named a finalist in the California Dreamin' Entrepreneurship Competition. Brandon Terry (PhD AAE '15) is a co-founder of the startup.

AAE junior Kyle Nicholson is president of Purdue SEDS.

Today is the Purdue Day of Giving. Gifts to AAE support one of five areas: AAE Critical Needs fund, Purdue Space Day, Purdue Hyperloop, Zucrow Building fund, or the Zero Gravity fund.
