Annelise Nauman

Annelise is a senior in Biological Engineering, minoring in Biotechnology and Global Engineering Studies, who studied abroad at University College Dublin in Ireland through GEARE. She has completed two internships with Merck, one based in the United States and one based in Ireland. Annelise is a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 296 course, providing professional development resources to GEARE students.

At Merck, Annelise has worked in R&D for vaccines, as well as in Science & Technology to optimize manufacturing methods of large molecule biologics. She has also spent four years working in a Purdue agronomy lab, using mass spectrometry to study environmental contamination.

Annelise is currently the Vice President of Growth for GEARE Ambassadors. She is also involved in the Goss Scholars Ambassadors program, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), and Alpha Epsilon. Outside of school, Annelise enjoys running, baking, and spending time with friends.
