Ellie Jones is a senior in civil engineering with a concentration in structural engineering. This past summer, she was a construction materials intern at ECS. Ellie is a teaching assistant for OPP’s ENGR 103 course and has been involved with GEARE Ambassadors.

 

At her internship this summer, Ellie worked on construction sites testing concrete and soil, and performed grading and retaining wall inspections. She also gained hands-on experience collecting data for ECS’s geotechnical department in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.

 

Ellie is president of the women’s ultimate frisbee club team and enjoys reading, baking and watching Purdue sports with friends in her free time.
