Eryk Chazares
Biography
Eryk is a junior studying agricultural engineering with a strong focus on professional development, leadership and experiential learning. He currently serves as the Director of Member Relations for the Professional Practice Ambassadors and as Project Archivist for Engineers Without Borders.
Eryk has completed five co-op rotations with Cargill, gaining hands-on industry experience across multiple locations including Akron, Ohio; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Omaha, Nebraska. Most recently, he spent the summer and fall semester at Cargill’s Corn Wet Milling Plant in Omaha, where he further developed his technical, operational and professional skills in a large-scale industrial setting.
Returning to the OPP staff, Eryk will serve as a TA for the GEARE Professional Practice Prep course. He is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments that help students maximize experience learning opportunities and confidently navigate their professional journeys. In his free time, Eryk enjoys playing ultimate, cooking and spending time with friends.
