Biography
Fabries began her career at Purdue University in 2009 as operations manager for the Purdue Improved Cowpea Storage project. She became director of corporate relations for the College of Engineering in 2017 and moved to EPICS in November 2019 to take the role of EPICS University Coordinator.
Fabries serves as the assistant director, Global Experiential Education Programs in the College of Engineering’s Office of Professional Practice. Within that role, she is dedicated to leading efforts in the GEARE program to develop co-op programs with global employers and prepare students for experiential learning experiences abroad.
Fabries is an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech community College teaching courses in business management, entrepreneurship and accounting. She holds a BA in political science and French from Indiana University and an MBA in management from Indianan Wesleyan University. She has lived on three continents and speaks fluent French. She married in 1992, has two grown boys and two daughters-in-law. In her free time, Fabries loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling and is a supporter of Purdue football.
