Professional Career 

Amy Adams received her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and Master’s degree in management from the J.L. Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She has spent most of her career with Cummins outside of the United States. Making the move to Singapore, she held several business development and distributor management roles that contributed to sales doubling in part to distributor consolidation strategy. 

Adams has been instrumental in bringing growth to multiple businesses. Having led complex businesses on three continents for Cummins, her unique global skills position her well to help Cummins successfully execute their growth strategy. As the current Vice President and General Manager of Cummins Emission Solutions, Adams is a leading global designer, integrator, manufacturer and distributor of exhaust aftertreatment systems and components.

Co-op Alumnus

While attending Purdue, Amy Adams completed a 5-Session co-op with General Motors. Adams then went on to join Cummins in 1995 and has held various positions in business development, product management, market management and distribution management.
