Brooke Yorio

Biography

Brooke Yorio is a senior in biological engineering and a member of the Co-Op Program. She has completed both a co-op and an internship at Merck & Co., in addition to an internship at Eli Lilly & Co. Brooke is a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 103 course and is always willing to mentor students interested in a co-op program and help with résumés.

In summer 2025, Brooke interned at Eli Lilly & Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana, supporting parenteral manufacturing. In spring and summer 2024, she was a vaccine manufacturing co-op in Elkton, Virginia, helping with cleaning validations for the HPV vaccine. In summer 2023, she served as a global project and alliance management intern for Merck Research Laboratories in Rahway, New Jersey.

Around campus, Brooke is a member of Phi Mu, Purdue Student Engineering Foundation, ABE Ambassadors, the John Martinson Honors College, Mortar Board Honor Society, and Alpha Epsilon Honor Society. She is also involved in undergraduate research. Outside of work and school, Brooke enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with friends.
