Sarah Papabathini

Biography

Sarah Papabathini is a senior studying Artificial Intelligence at Purdue University in Indianapolis. She has completed two consecutive summer internships with Eli Lilly & Company, where she developed AI-powered solutions to enhance accuracy and leverage natural language processing. Her work also includes centralizing key metrics through data visualization. She has also led and contributed to research projects, including the development of a DeepFake detection method published by Cornell University and the creation of an augmented reality platform.

On campus, Sarah serves as President of Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), Volunteer Chair for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and is an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). She also leads a women’s Bible study through Cru Ministry and has been recognized as a Top 100 student, Regatta Queen, and 500 Festival Princess. Outside of school and work, she enjoys exploring new taco spots and thrifting.
