Cooper Niemeier

Biography

Cooper Niemeier is a senior in environmental and ecological engineering with minors in Spanish and global engineering studies and is a member of the GEARE program.

Cooper has completed internships with NextEra Energy in Gainesville, Florida, and Honda at the Indiana Auto Plant in Greensburg, Indiana. He also studied abroad at Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Quito, Ecuador, where he completed a summer research term.

This fall, Cooper will use his expertise from being a peer advisor in the Study Abroad Office and personal experience abroad to assist students as a teaching assistant for ENGR 296: GEARE Prep. In his free time, he enjoys going to the cinema and cooking.
