Jairaj Chauhan
Biography
Jairaj 'Jai' Chauhan is a junior in aeronautical and astronautical engineering and a member of the GEARE program. They are a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 296 course and are passionate about supporting students interested in OPP programs.
Jai conducts personal research focused on sustainable aviation and UAV and drone technology, exploring innovative approaches to environmentally conscious aerospace solutions. Their research interests align with the growing demand for sustainable practices in the aviation industry and the expanding applications of unmanned aerial systems.
Outside of school, Jai enjoys mountaineering and backpacking, running, creating art, cooking, reading, gymnastics and photography.
