Biography

Cole is a junior in chemical engineering and a member of the co-op program at Purdue. By the end of summer 2025, he will have completed two co-op rotations with The Lubrizol Corporation in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

During his first term, Cole worked as a process development co-op in a pilot plant setting, focusing on improving the quality of additives used in various engine oils. His second term took place at a Lubrizol manufacturing site that produces small plastic pellets used in Nike products and a variety of medical device applications.

Cole is a teaching assistant for OPP’s FYE Professional Development course and is excited to support students and share his love for the co-op experience.

In addition to his role with OPP, Cole serves as the member relations director of the Professional Practice Ambassadors, is a member of Purdue’s chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Purdue’s inaugural ChemE Cube team, and Purdue Lutheran Ministries. He also participates in a variety of intramural sports.

Outside of school, Cole enjoys hockey, pickleball, card games and spending time with friends.
