Lucy Gregory
Biography
Lucy is a junior majoring in biochemistry with a minor in aquatic sciences and a certificate in collaborative leadership. She is part of the inaugural class of Lilly Scholars at Purdue and completed a manufacturing and quality internship with Eli Lilly and Company during her sophomore year. Most recently, she completed a summer internship with Ossium Health, a biotechnology company dedicated to developing the world’s first bone marrow bank.
Lucy is a teaching assistant for ENGR 103: Lilly Scholars and is passionate about building confidence and professionalism within the next class of Lilly Scholars at Purdue.
At Lilly, she worked to optimize the spare parts inventory of Indy RLT, a relatively new biotechnology company Lilly had recently acquired. She also supported the engineering team with several qualification projects as the company prepared for commercial production. At Ossium Health, she worked as an inventory operations intern and assissted in large-scale bone marrow transfers within cryogenic tank storage.
Outside of school, Lucy is involved in Purdue’s cooperative housing system and currently serves as vice president, assistant new member educator and work manager at her cooperative house, Maclure. She loves cooking, being outdoors and scuba diving.
