Kevin Coronel


Biography

Kevin Coronel is a fourth year student in Motorsports Engineering. He recently completed a summer internship as a systems engineer at Bryan Herta Autosport, where he honed his technical skills in a high-performance environment. Kevin previously worked at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as part of the college program experience; followed by his first racing experience with FIA Drag Racing Champion and NHRA Drag racing team Lex Joon Racing.
 
Kevin is also a teaching assistant for OPP's ENG-103 course, playing a key role in supporting students' academic success. In addition, he will be stepping into the role of president for the student organization SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professionals Engineers), where he is committed to fostering community and professional growth among his peers.
 
Outside of his academic and professional endeavors, Kevin enjoys playing soccer with friends, expressing his creativity through producing electronic music and competing in distance races like 5ks.
