Feraas is a 5th year senior in Mechanical Engineering who was part of the Learning While Working (LWW) co-op with Cummins Inc. in the Fuel Systems Business Unit. LWW is a new co-op model that allows students to complete a one-year continuous full-time work experience and receive technical credit for the project.
During his time at Cummins, Feraas worked in the material science engineering team and was involved on a variety of projects: from hands-on projects like failure analysis of fuel pump components to calling and intercating with suppliers.
He is an international student from Oman and is also a TA for OPP's ENGR 103 course where he mentors both domestic and international students interested in the program.
Outside of school Feraas enjoys traveling, getting exposed to different cultures, and trying out new food from all kinds of places!
